As a result of the Lord's mighty work, there are as many as 50 million Christians in China. The mission field of China now enters into its second stage: the Church must now build herself up in God's Word. Christians must learn to be the Lord's disciples in order for the church to become a church of missions. As more and more Christians are born everyday, the need for Christian discipleship and evangelism literature is enormous and urgent.
Hundreds of churches in more than 15 provinces are blessed by the love of Christian brothers and sisters outside China. This ministry also serves Chinese churches in the backward areas of developing countries in Southeast Asia, such as North Thailand and Laos. |

"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk..."
I Peter 2:2 In recent years, we have discovered a need for our brothers and sisters in China. It is greater than the need for more missionaries, gospel tracks, or church buildings. It is the need for the systematic study of God's Word, which is the best way to build healthy churches and fight off the rampant false teachings of Christian cults in China. Consequently, the Chinese Baptist Press is now producing in China a complete set of Sunday School materials comprising 36 volumes (together with teacher's guides, it totals 72 books per set) covering every book in the Bible. In doing so, this Book Donation Ministry will meet the needs of Lord's Church in China more effectively and strategically. It will be the very first time in history, that a whole set of Sunday School materials in Simplified Chinese are available to the churches in China. The impact will be instant, effective and eternal. |

In
1996, the 
"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow
up in your salvation" (I Peter 2:2). Just like there is a critical period of
growth of a young baby, the timing
for our brothers and sisters in China to grow in God's Words is crucial. They may otherwise
end up being swayed by the false teachings of cults, undercutting the growth
of the Church. The success of
this ministry solely depends on the
prayers and financial support of
churches and individuals outside China. You and your church can be part of
this meaningful and important project, putting bible study materials
in the hands of our brothers and sisters in China.
